Face Everything And Rise. There are moments in life where fear might creep in for a split second, but what we DO after that fear creeps in is what determines or builds our character. It's all in perspective. I can either A.) Let this fear cripple me into staying inside my bubble, stop me from using my voice for good, or increase my chances of reacting in a way where I send emotional poison to someone else's life OR B.) Acknowledge the fear exists in this moment BUT release the fear and step into the endless possibilities of what good could come, release the fear and step out of your bubble and watch yourself flourish and grow stronger by overcoming, or release the fear, breathe, and make calculated movements forward to persevere. One cannot let fear rule our actions or the choices we make. So it's okay to say I'm a little afraid of what might happen but move forward with confidence and certainty that you WILL BE OKAY and FEAR WILL NOT RULE YOU!!
Embrace every inch of your body from your pinky toe all the way through to the crown of your head. So I was asked to fill out some questions around why Love Your Body is important to BUDU Wellness & Fitness and I wanted to share that with you all.
Laughter is so good for the soul. Have you ever just sat back and laughed at yourself? Rather it be at how ridiculous you look, sound, or are acting? Kind of how ridiculous I felt in this photo laughing at myself trying to capture this photo of myself laughing!! Ironic right!? HA! Laughter is literally the best medicine. Find you someone in life that you can have deep belly laughs with. Someone who will not laugh at you but laugh with you. I truly believe laughter, kindness, and empathy are the cure our world really needs. How many times have we known comedy to bring us together? Comedy offers us so much comedic relief during such turmoil or trying times. Literally, look all over Facebook and Instagram today at all the light-hearted jokes about Coronavirus. Yes I do believe there are some people out there not taking it seriously, but deep in my heart, I know that some of those people making light-hearted jokes know its serious. It's just that laughter can be a reactive expression when our bodies and minds are sent into panic or fright mode. Just know that it's okay to laugh a little....or A LOT, even when life isn't giving us anything funny to laugh at or about. What's something you've laughed at today?!
